Fred Ciccotelli

Fred’s communication career began in 1974 as a Crypto voice and data tech for an installation squadron in the Air Force. He then moved to Silicon Valley and worked with some of the major players in the communications industry. Fred has provided technical and sales support for Nortel, General Dynamics, United Technologies ROLM, IBM and Siemens.

Fred has engineered, managed and installed large systems for Sprint, Intel, Fred Meyer, Weyerhaeuser, City/County wide systems in Washington and Oregon and large call center customers for Health Care and Insurance companies such as Farmers, State Farm, Blue Cross, Kaiser and Health Net. Fred’s experience in call centers and voice and data networking is extensive.

Fred established Telesphere over 20 years ago and has been providing support for local customers and working as a subcontractor for larger interconnects that require a local presence in the Portland area.

Fred is an avid fisherman and when off the job he can be found on Oregons North coast fishing, crabbing or clamming our many rivers, bays and the Pacific ocean.

Jordan Brown

Operations Manager

Jordan first joined the industry with Tualatin Telecom, Telesphere’s sister company, in 2002 as a system installation assistant. With an early entrance to the industry his family has been involved with for many decades, he is now following in their footsteps. After earning degrees in web design and business administration, Jordan joined Telesphere in 2008 as a technician. In 2016 Jordan transitioned into the role of operations manager and is responsible for estimating, scheduling, and day-to-day operations management. In his free time Jordan can be found fishing, golfing and competing in amateur barbecue competitions.

Mike Ciccotelli

Service Manager

Mike is Telesphere’s oldest employee and is a legacy member of the industry. As Fred’s son he has been groomed to be an expert phone tech from a young age, tagging along on installations and learning the business afternoons and weekends starting in high-school. Mike moved to Portland directly after college to join Telesphere in 2005 and has since mastered job-site management, system programming and troubleshooting and service management. During his free time Mike enjoys camping in the Northwest, writing music and flying drones.

Sean Nada

Sean is one of our newest techs who joined Telesphere in 2015. While Sean is one of our main structured cabling techs, he is also our troubleshooting magician. Anything we throw at Sean can be solved. Sean spends his free time camping, playing golf or basketball and fishing.

Rich Guyot

Rich started with Telesphere in 2012 as a referral from another Telesphere technician with no experience and has since grown to be one of our structured cabling team leaders. In his free time Rich is an avid sports fan and enjoys supporting the Northwest baseball, basketball and football teams.

Grant Coomber

Grant is Telesphere’s newest apprentice, he joined Telesphere in 2016. He is going to be graduating later this year from the training program Telesphere has been partnered with since the beginning. Prior to joining Telesphere Grant spent a summer hiking the entire Pacific Crest Trail from the US/Mexico border to the US/Canada border. As such he enjoys hiking, camping and spending time in the outdoors.

Matt Shelton

Matt is our newest apprentice and is currently working through his apprenticeship with our long term training agent, IEC of Oregon. After high school Matt served our country in the US Marine Corps. He is now well on his way to being a great technician in the telecommunications industry.
